MOU Signed with JB Group for Postpaid Advertising System
Matching Advertising Costs to Effectiveness for More Efficient Marketing Spend
The Korea Franchise Industry Association (Chairman Jeong Hyeon-sik) has partnered with JB Group (CEO Kim Do-hyun) to address the challenges faced by small business owners struggling due to stagnant consumer spending.
On February 9th, the association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JB Group at the SBA International Distribution Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The two organizations will work together to help franchise member stores adopt JB Group’s integrated mileage system as a strategy for boosting sales.

Postpaid Advertising System for Smarter Marketing Spend
JB Group operates an ICT-based platform integrating a postpaid advertising system with its mileage program. Unlike traditional advertising models, the postpaid system allows businesses to pay advertising fees only after sales are generated. By precisely linking advertising effectiveness with cost, the system optimizes marketing spend. Additionally, the integrated mileage program drives customer traffic, helping improve small businesses' sales and profitability.
The association will actively promote JB Group’s mileage system to its members, ensuring that the rewards offered to consumers can be redeemed at franchise locations. JB Group, in turn, will offer special benefits to franchise members who adopt the system and create a positive feedback loop through consumer mileage incentives.
Support for Small Businesses
Kang Seok-woo, Executive Vice President of the association, highlighted the ongoing challenges for small businesses, even in the post-COVID-19 era:
“Despite the end of the pandemic, small business owners continue to face difficulties due to high inflation and slow consumer spending. By integrating JB Group’s user-friendly mileage system with our member stores, we aim to support them in recovering their sales.”
The collaboration between the association and JB Group is expected to play a key role in establishing a sustainable and mutually beneficial ecosystem for both businesses and consumers.
