JB Group has donated funds to Habitat for Humanity Korea, an international non-profit organization dedicated to housing welfare, to support housing improvements for descendants of Korean independence activists.

The donation ceremony took place at Habitat for Humanity Korea’s Vision Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul. Key participants included Kim Do-hyun, CEO of JB Group, Yoon Jae-hwan, Deputy Manager, Lee Gwang-ho, Secretary General of Habitat Korea, and Yeop Seong-hwan, Team Manager.

Proceeds from OG Platform’s 8.15 Independence Day Event

The donation was raised through JB Group’s “8.15 Independence Day Donation Event”, which was held on the official social media channels of its OG Platform app in celebration of the 79th anniversary of Korea’s independence. The funds will be used to improve the living conditions of the descendants of independence fighters.

Kim Do-hyun, CEO of JB Group, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “This event provided an opportunity to reflect on the noble sacrifices made by those who dedicated themselves to our country’s independence. We hope that the descendants of these independence activists can live more comfortably and happily in improved living environments.”

Kim further emphasized JB Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility:
